About the Brand
Captivora is a bespoke digital agency with an organic first approach. We bridge the gap between stunning products and strategic Pinterest marketing that drives real business results. When you partner with Captivora, you're not just hiring a Pinterest manager—you're gaining a dedicated growth partner who understands that your success is our success.
How it Started
The idea came up while traveling through Europe, watching sunsets, and asking the kind of “what’s next?” questions that don’t have neat answers. A friend of mine was experiencing explosive growth at his company and we got to talking about his customer demographic. He mentioned that it was mostly women, and I said, "You're probably on Pinterest, right?" He said he wasn't, I said he should be.
I told him about my experience in using Pinterest to get traffic to my websites in the past and recommended he do the same. He said I should run the account for them, but I didn't take him up on that offer right away. The conversation came up a couple more times and each time I thought it could work, but wasn't sure if I could do it for someone else successfully.
I doubted myself.
They ended up doing it in house and saw meager results. The problem was, the team didn't have the bandwidth to figure out and manage another platform, they were busy trying to keep up with demand. I finally took him up on the offer to rework his account to test if I could indeed do it for others as well as I did it for myself. Guess what? It worked.
He pointed out the obvious: with my experience and ability to make Pinterest work like a growth engine, I should be running an agency.
Just like that, another accidental business was born.
Pinterest Digital Marketing
The truth is, most people overlook Pinterest because it doesn’t cater to short attention spans or instant dopamine hits. It rewards patience, consistency, and actual community engagement. You can’t just drop content and ghost—you’ve got to show up like a regular at a local café, not a loud tourist trying to sell something no one asked for.
It isn’t just “post and pray.” It’s getting access to niche boards, researching keywords, timing your pins like a tactician, repinning strategically, and plugging into group boards that already have trust baked in. It’s work—but the kind of work that keeps working for you. Unlike other platforms where your content dies after 48 hours (if it even lived at all), Pinterest gives your content shelf life. Real shelf life. Like "still showing up a year from now" shelf life.
Everyone is overlooking the one platform that will happily take all that lovingly crafted high-quality content and turn it into compounding traffic. Why not repurpose it?!
That’s where Captivora comes in. I know how to turn that potential into performance—because I’ve done it, from scratch, without a single boosted post or paid follower for myself and others.
"Well, I'm a little star-struck by Candice. She's built quite a thing. Most of the people who impress me have built something, who have developed a point-of-view, who said, "Here, I made this." I think that's hard to do." - Seth Godin
Organic Pinterest Strategy
What sets Captivora apart from other agencies is probably obvious. We are hyper focused on understanding (and manipulating) Pinterest and SEO. That's it. We don't dabble into Facebook Ads, try to keep up with TikTok dances, we're not trying to go viral on Instagram. We KNOW Pinterest.
I understand the in's and out's of getting your e-commerce business to the point where you're willing and able to hire someone to manage the account for you. We strategically optimize for keywords and create consistent organic growth then promote the pins that are popping off. We're not outsourcing sharing your content to some dude in India, it's literally just hot chicks sipping matcha lattes at a cafe in Miami getting carpal tunnel so you don't have to.
Hi, I'm Candice.

I've founded and scaled an online fashion retailer, honey brand, and an environmental non-profit. I became the most viewed profile in the world on LinkedIn after reverse-engineering the algorithm for fun—then flipped the internet’s outrage into a landing a featured spot on Forbes 30 Under 30 list. A few power moves later, I spoke at the Columbia Women in Business Conference, Social Media Week, Global E-commerce Leaders Forum, Forbes Summits, and even crashed TED’s website just by asking for nominations.
I wrote a business column at Inc. Magazine titled, "The Quest for Knowledge" just so I could parlay that into chats with interesting people such as Deepak Chopra, Alexis Ohanian, and Robert Greene.
I've been featured in Forbes, Adweek, NBC, FOX Business, Huffington Post, Social Media Today, Inc., American Express, etc. and spoken on many podcasts, including Shopify Masters, Buffer, and had my story told on My First Million.
If you’re ready to play the long game and win, we should talk. It'll be fun.
